Track Record as General Secretary of Various Societies

 

Has worked as Hony General Secretary of Delhi Ophthalmological Society during 2013-2015.

• During his tenure for the first time in the history of DOS, International Speakers were part of the scientific programme by video conferencing apart from maximum number of attending International speakers.
• The use of QR codes for the articles of DOS Times was introduced for the first time and a small booklet was prepared in which articles of last 4 years were compiled in the form of QR codes.
• The finances of DOS were at the peak during his tenure.
• He had also organised the AIOC 2015 in Delhi during his tenure.

 

He is working as the Hony General Secretary of Indian Society of Cornea and Keratorefractive Surgeons (ISCKRS).

• The society has risen to great height during his tenure with an increase of membership from 62 to 852.
• The society which was absolutely quite became highly vibrant  and the annual conference of ISCKRS that is held in Delhi is one of the most sought after conference which is attended many international and National Stallwarts.

 

Currently Hony Gen. Secretary of the Family Benefit Scheme of AIOS (FBS AIOS)

• During his tenure, the membership of FBS AIOS has increased significantly (Nearly 45% increase in just over 3 years)
• Awareness regarding the scheme has gone very high due to repeated communications in the form of mailers, messages, webinars and by newsletters
• Website of FBS AIOS has become user friendly
• All the data has been digitised
• Online payment is possible; Most importantly without any surcharge by simply scanning the QR code
• Member communication has improved tremendously
• FBS AIOS Telegram channel wherein members’ issues are sorted out immediately. This initiative was first of its kind by any society.
• For the first time, the yearly fraternal contribution was reduced by 10% which was appreciated by all the members.
• Member Benefit increased during his tenure
• Zero Expenditure on Office bearers
